Al Thughab Fort About: The fort was erected between 19th and 20th century. It is rectangular in shape Location: The fort is located about 100kms North side of Doha. Al-Rakiyat Fort About: Al Rakiyat fort was constructed between 17th and 19th century. It is mad of stones and mud. It is rectangular in shape and has four towers at the corners. Location: The fort is located near a camel farm, just off the coastal road between Zubarah and Ruwais.  Al Wajdah Fort About: The fort was built in 1882. It is the oldest fort in Qatar and has been used at time of battle in year 1893 when Sheikh Jassim bin Mohammed Al Thani led his people to a victory over the invading Ottoman forces. Location, New Al-Rayyan, about 15 kms from Doha. Umm Salal Mohammed Fort About: This fort was built in the late 19th century. It is made with high and thick walls. Inside the fort, you'll find many decorative and architectural materials. Location: The fort is located 20kms from Doha.
