Maroona Beach (French Beach)Address: Approx 70 kms from Doha, on Shamal Road, there is a sign 'Maroona', turn there, the beach is about 8 kms from there. About: It is also known as 42-km Beach or French Beach. It offers nice sights, and is a good place for bar-b-que, para-sailing and camping. Ras Abrouq (Bir Zekreet)Address: The beach is located 80 kms west of Doha. Take the road to Dukhan. Turn at the Zekreet junction and you will get to the Zekreet. Follow the beach signs, it isn't far from there. About: It's a great place for camping, kiteboarding and camel riding. There are many coves, several sand bays and interesting sights. Sealine BeachAddress: The beach is approx 60 kms from Doha. Head towards Wakra on Ras Abu Abboud Street then onto Al-Wakra main street. Follow the signs for Sealine Beach, it's 20 kms from there. About: It's a beautiful beach, with interesting sights. It's great for swimming and picnic. There's also Sealine Beach Resort there, which provides villas, swimming pools and they also offer on-site water sports activities.  Simaisma BeachAddress: Head towards AlKhor. Before reaching AlKhor exit you will find Al Sumaisimah exit, the beach is near from that point. About: You will many palm trees and huts at the beach. It's also good for swimming. There are often many visitors at the beach, from AlKhor.  List of Beaches in QatarUmm Bab Beach (Palm Tree Beach)Address: Travel on Salwa Road towards Industrial Area. After traveling 40 kms, take slight right there will be a roundabout, take 3rd exit. Continue straight on the same road until you reach Umm Bab. Beach is just there.
There are clusters of palm trees at the beach. It has beautiful sights and is good for relaxation and swimming.
